The cost of a premium fibreglass pool installation varies based on several factors including pool size, site conditions, access challenges, and optional enhancements. Master Pools’ range of Aqua Technics fibreglass pools typically range from $50,000 to $85,000 for a complete installation, which includes excavation, pool shell installation with Graphene Nano-Tech, all necessary plumbing, premium filtration equipment, and pool surrounds.
Additional features such as heating systems, water features, automation technology, and landscaping integration can be incorporated based on your specific requirements and budget. For an accurate assessment, we recommend booking an on-site consultation where our experts can provide a detailed proposal tailored to your property and vision.
For most Melbourne properties, we confidently recommend fibreglass pools for several reasons:
Superior Durability: Our Aqua Technics fibreglass pools with Graphene Nano-Tech are engineered specifically for Melbourne’s variable soil conditions and climate extremes, offering 30% greater strength than standard fibreglass pools.
Faster Installation: A complete fibreglass pool installation typically takes 2-3 weeks from excavation to swimming, while concrete pools can require 3-6 months of disruptive construction.
Lower Maintenance: The non-porous, smooth gelcoat surface resists algae growth, requires fewer chemicals, and is more energy-efficient to heat – saving you time and money throughout ownership.
Comfort and Safety: The smooth, gentle surface is significantly more comfortable for swimmers and eliminates the risk of scrapes and grazes common with concrete pool surfaces – ideal for families with young children.
Lifetime Value: Our ColourGuard® technology ensures your pool maintains its stunning appearance for decades, with superior resistance to UV damage, chemical exposure, and physical wear.
For properties with highly unusual space constraints or completely custom design requirements, concrete may occasionally be preferred, but for most Melbourne homes, fibreglass offers the ideal balance of quality, aesthetics, and value.
The Master Pools installation process typically spans 4-8 weeks from your initial consultation to your first swim, depending on council approval timeframes and weather conditions. Here’s our process:
Unlike concrete pools that can disrupt your backyard for months, our efficient installation process minimises disruption to your property and lifestyle. We pride ourselves on clear communication throughout the entire process, with your dedicated Project Manager keeping you informed at every stage.
Our Aqua Technics fibreglass pools are built for minimal maintenance while maintaining pristine water quality. Here’s what you can expect:

For ultimate convenience, we recommend:
The non-porous gelcoat surface of our fibreglass pools naturally resists algae growth and requires significantly fewer chemicals than concrete or vinyl pools. Most of our customers are surprised by how little time their pool requires to maintain perfect swimming conditions throughout Melbourne’s swimming season.
