This Sandhurst family wanted to create a sophisticated entertaining hub that would complement their stunning golf course outlook. With panoramic views across the fairways and a passion for hosting, they imagined a pool and spa combination that would serve as the centerpiece for year-round gatherings and quiet relaxation alike.
The Build
- Pool & Spa: Valentina with Nova Spa and spillway
- Size: 8x4m and 2.2×1.8m
- Colour: Hamptons Blue
- Access: One-day excavation using 5-tonne crane
- Pool Equipment: Salt Chlorinator, Variable Speed Pump, Solar Heating, Gas Spa Heater with Blower and 6 Jets, Sunlover Solar Blanket, Maytronics DB1 Cleaner, 3x Spa Electrics pool lights plus 1 Spa LED light
- Fencing: Mix of glass fencing with chrome spigots and black tubular fencing
- Decking: Composite decking and travertine paving
The Outcome The elevated sun lounger zone creates an exclusive retreat-within-a-retreat, while the large undercover entertaining area becomes the gathering point for celebrations and evening soirées. The Hamptons Blue colour enhances the sense of luxury while blending beautifully with the rolling golf course backdrop.
Sometimes the best installations work in harmony with their surroundings to create something really special.
